King Pine Ski Area nestled in East Madison, NH just celebrated its 60th season.  “It all starts here”, their motto.

What We Loved

The small mountain, homey, everyone knows your name feel.  From the lodge, lifts, rooms and restaurant everything was cozy.  A family with young children would love the opportunities the mountain has to offer.  Children learning here and being able to conquer many of the greens and blues, will boost their confidence and further fall in love with the winter sports of skiing and snowboarding. Night skiing, uncommon at many mountains, King Pine offers night skiing which is great for after school, extending your time on the slopes and meet ups after work.

Where We Stayed at King Pine

There are several lodging options at Purity Spring Resort, where King Pine is located.  We stayed at the Inn while there, located where the restaurant is and across from where you check in, the gym and indoor pool are located. We had a suite with a King bed, including couch, kitchenette, desk and additional room with two twins and bathroom.  For two adults and a child, this was more room than we needed to sleep since we were out of the room during the day and most of the evening.
